Richmond is a town in the Hawkesbury. It is located at the foot of the Blue Mountains, about 65 kilometres west from Sydney. It was originally explored by British settlers in 1789 and was the third area to have European settlement in Australia. There are many heritage buildings in the area including the Court House, old Post Office, Toxana and the School of Arts.
