Windsor is a town in the Hawkesbury. It is located on the north-western outskirts of the Sydney metropolitan area. It is the third-oldest place of British settlement in Australia. It was originally called Green Hills but renamed after Windsor in England. There are many heritage buildings in the area including Claremont Cottage, Loder House, Tebutt’s Observatory, Macquarie Arms Hotel and St Matthew’s Anglican Church.
